Our Visionary

Born and raised in New York City I grew up surrounded by different cultures, beliefs, and ways of understanding the world. I learned early on that people could experience the same event in completely different ways and that no single point of view held all the answers, which sparked my lifelong fascination with the questions that shape how we understand our humanity.

My work as a full-spectrum doula, herbalist, and parenting coach deepened that curiosity. Supporting people through child birth and postpartum, one of life's most transformational times, taught me that while some experiences do change us, it’s how we choose integrate our experiences that defines the life we live.

Seeking a way to better understand the process of integration, I lived at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality, searching for spaces that could hold those perspectives in conversation. That search eventually led me to the world of psychedelics and entheogens.

As I explored plant medicine more deeply — learning from experienced practitioners, microdosing, sitting in ceremony and eventually holding space for others to explore — integration reshaped my relationship with intimacy, compassion, community, power, and sovereignty, shifting my understanding of my “self”, my world view and the work I have been called to do.

While I love that conversations around psychedelics and plant medicine are becoming more mainstream, there’s a lack of holistic education — that holds both the science and the spiritual — and integration spaces where BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people feel represented, supported, and safe are far and few. That's what called me to create The Altar of Us: to help ensure that as access to psychedelic experiences grow, education, integration, and community grow with it.
